Project description

PRULindungi Syariah is a Sharia-based Life Insurance product from PT Prudential Sharia Life Assurance (Prudential Syariah). The Single Contribution paid provides coverage for the Basic Death Benefit and Optional Benefits as outlined in the Policy. This product is available in Rupiah and provides Insurance Benefits as long as the membership remains active. The Sharia Life Insurance agreement between the Policyholder and the Administrator can be made in electronic form.

Challenge

Designing a platform for selling PRULindungi Syariah insurance policies to be embedded in banking or third-party applications presents significant UI/UX challenges. The main difficulty lies in ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience across different app interfaces, as partner apps may have varied designs and user flows. The platform must be flexible enough to integrate while maintaining consistent branding and adhering to the Sharia principles of the product. Additionally, given the complexity of insurance products, the challenge is to present detailed information in a clear, digestible format to avoid overwhelming users. Security and user comfort are paramount due to the sensitive nature of transactions and personal data. As a result, the design must prioritize responsive design, accessibility, and a streamlined user journey to make the policy purchase process straightforward, secure, and user-friendly.

Task responsibility

Collaborated closely with the business owner to gather detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRD), ensuring a clear understanding of the business objectives and user needs. This involved translating business workflows into intuitive UI flows, ensuring that the platform not only meets functional requirements but also provides a seamless user experience. By aligning design solutions with business goals, I ensured that the UI design was both efficient and effective in driving the desired user interactions, while maintaining consistency with the overall brand and Shariah principles of the product.
